JULIET KULUSIC
ACTOR, POET, CREATOR.

WHO IS JUKULU?
From donkey ears to corsets, valley girl to revolutionist, San Francisco to New York, actor and poet Juliet Kulusic has assumed a broad range of roles throughout her professional career. However, despite the differences in the identities that she plays on stage, they are all connected by Juliet’s mission as a performing artist: to encourage audience’s to lean into discomfort and the unknown, in order to provoke empathy and ultimately, large scale social justice change through the power of honest storytelling.
As a recent graduate of Santa Clara University, with a dual degree in Theatre Arts and Developmental Psychology, Juliet brings a unique and expansive perspective to her work.
However, Juliet’s holistic knowledge and approach to her artistry goes beyond the stage.
In 2023, Juliet was recognized and awarded with a Jesuit Fellowship by Santa Clara University, for her work with Alzheimer and Dementia patients engaging in performing art therapy. Juliet experienced first-hand the truly transformational power of performance while working with her patients, as their symptoms began to diminish significantly and their reported quality of life improved.
In her work moving forward, Juliet looks forward to deepening her work at the intersection of the performing arts and social justice.
